As a successful board-certified specialist in family law and certified Family Financial Mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission, we are honored to expand Melissa’s role and continue working with her.
In her work as an attorney, Melissa has experience working on cases related to child support, post separation support, alimony, custody, equitable distribution, mediation, litigation, pre-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and divorce. She has been recognized by her peers as a Business North Carolina Legal Elite for Family Law for being one of the state’s top practitioners.
Melissa received her Juris Doctor from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law (2004) and Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington (2001). Post graduation, she worked for seven years at the Rosen Law Firm handling family law issues before joining Gailor Hunt in 2014.
