Follow the steps below to get the separation and/or divorce process started:

 1. Call or send us a message.

Complete the Contact Us form below. In the message field, feel free to briefly explain your situation and then hit send. One of our team members will be back in touch, within 24 hours, to set up an initial consultation.
If you prefer, feel free to call us at (919) 832-8488 to discuss basic information about your situation and to set up your initial consultation.

 2. Gather your information.

In preparation for a separation and divorce, we will ask you to gather important documents relating to family expenses, property ownership, marital property and documentation of wrong doing.

3. Consult with our attorneys.

We will schedule a consultation where you’ll meet with two of our attorneys for an hour and a half, in person, to discuss your case. At that point, we will review all of your details and put together a road map that works best for your situation, your separation and divorce, and above all, your future.

4. Together, we will resolve your case.

Remember, this may be your first divorce. But it’s not ours.  Gailor Hunt is experienced in all matters of divorce — from separation agreements to custody, child support, and spousal support, and from division of property to equitable distribution of complex financial portfolios.

Please keep in mind that contacting Gailor Hunt Davis Taylor & Gibbs, PLLC will not establish an attorney-client relationship. Gailor Hunt cannot represent you until the firm knows there would not be a conflict of interest, and the firm determines that it is otherwise able to accept the engagement of your case. Accordingly, please do not send Gailor Hunt any information or documents until a formal attorney-client relationship has been established through a consultation with an attorney and authorized in the form of a retainer agreement. Any information or documents sent prior to your receipt of a retainer agreement cannot be treated as confidences, secrets or protected information of any nature. Clicking “Send” acknowledges that you understand and agree with this notice.
